Part 27: Here There Be Spoilers (Also Fuck You Moments Abound)

This is a huge update, although it will appear quite short. That's because I decided to record pretty much the entire thing in video to let you see what that's like. It's only about 15 minutes, and there is no commentary. I couldn't come up with a more appropriate way to show off what may amount to the single biggest bitch move 7th Saga pulls against you.

The Runedar is tingling, pointing the way to Gariso's lair, which seems to be a nondescript cave.

The dungeon starts off as an ice cavern, which is pretty cool, but eventually turns into a castle for some reason.

New enemies, but don't get used to them, we'll pretty much never be seeing any of them again. Naked silver men, that kind of thing, but they'll soon be out of sight and out of mind. Forever.

Oh boy, another dragon! Say hello to Monmo. Monmo's major trait is that he is immune to all damage that isn't Fire and/or cast from a very powerful Magic stat. Guess what the hardest damage type for Wilme and Esuna to put out is? And you thought B Fires were never going to be used for anything.

Moving on you'll see the battle against Gariso. The Moonlight is needed to make Gariso visible and thus attackable. Unlike Doros or bosses of this sort in lesser JRPGs, Gariso goes back to being invisible every so often, and you have to use the Moonlight again to damage him! Isn't that great?
